In 2024, I am thrilled to share that I will be embarking on a new chapter in my professional journey as I transition to my workplace at FNB (First National Bank). Joining FNB represents an exciting opportunity for me to contribute my skills and knowledge in a dynamic and innovative environment.
I look forward to bringing my experiences from academic achievements, internships, and project work to contribute to the ongoing success and innovation at FNB. This move is a significant step in my career, and I am eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with being a part of such a reputable organization. -
Graduation Year
In 2023, I achieved a significant milestone by graduating from Walter Sisulu University with a diploma in ICT in Application Development, and I am proud to have graduated with honors (cum laude). Building on this foundation, I decided to further my education and enrolled at Tshwane University of Technology to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science.
Simultaneously, I embarked on my professional journey in the tech industry. In September, I commenced my work experience as an intern system developer at UVU-Africa's CapaCITI. This opportunity not only allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in a practical setting but also provided valuable insights into the dynamics of the technology industry.
This dual commitment to education and gaining hands-on experience reflects my dedication to continuous learning and professional growth in the field of computer science and application development. -
University Final Year
In 2022, during my final year at Walter Sisulu University, I actively participated in various hackathons, showcasing my problem-solving skills and innovative thinking. Notably, I secured the third place in one of the hackathons, demonstrating my ability to contribute effectively in competitive environments.
Additionally, I took part in an international competition known as the Student Design Competition, where I had the opportunity to showcase my design and problem-solving abilities on a global stage.
Throughout the year, I worked on several projects, with a major focus on my final year project. My final year project involved the development of a health and fitness platform tailored for students at Walter Sisulu University. This initiative aimed to enhance the well-being of the student community by providing a comprehensive platform for health-related resources, fitness programs, and overall well-being support.
These experiences not only enriched my technical skills but also allowed me to collaborate with diverse teams and apply my knowledge to real-world challenges.
